H161 HHJ was built as a show car by the sponsors Q8, and featured in a great deal of pre-event publicity as the car that Malcolm Wilson and Nicky Grist would drive in the 1991 RAC Rally

Finished with a "snow effect" paint finish, this casting is a great improvement on the old vitesse model (718) of the same car which is also shown on this page.

Again this casting is a great improvement on the old Vitesse model (710) which is shown on this page.  Francois Delecour finished 3rd with his lady navigator Anne-Chantal Pauwels

The Vitesse models of the 4x4 Sierra were rather poor as they were based on a Gama model of the Ford Sierra Sapphire 2.0 Ghia. Faults were:- standard lights should have been twin morette style, wrong front grill. poor interior that still included back seats and Sierra 2.0 Ghia badge on the boot.
